Our mono-hull boats, the ‘Ra-ikanes’ are styled after David Livingstone’s exploration boat used in the 1850s. The name ‘Ra-ikane’ is derived from Livingstone’s trusted aid Lazarus Ra-ikane who guided Livingstone to the Falls in 1855.

Adorned with sumptuous teak furniture and accompanied by our attentive staff, the cruise feels as though you are a companion on a journey from a bygone era.

The quiet nature and sleek design enable the boats to get closer to the banks allowing for great game and bird watching. The design also allows the luxury of escaping to hidden streams and inlets. The maximum capacity of 16 onboard allowing for a more intimate experience.

Our fleet sets off daily offering, birdwatching, breakfast, lunch, and sunset cruises. Each cruise is around two hours long and offers guests delicious meals or snacks as well as premium beverages while onboard.
